The Fort Worth Zoo
As soon as Brittany told me on our consultation call that her wedding was going to be at Zoo, I immediately knew it was going to be FUN – and even that ended up being an understatement! Brittany has a background in graphic design and she completely embraced the wildlife theme, from the custom koozies to the small animal figurines she incorporated into her centerpieces to the animal-print ties that Carter and his groomsmen wore. Every detail was so thoughtfully design and curated, and it was all so reflective of Brittany + Carter’s fun-loving, larger-than-life personalities. Every wedding is a celebration, but this one was a PARTY.
The Zoo supplied not only the catering and bar through their in-house culinary team, but also a round of “animal experiences” during cocktail hour for guests to get up close and personal with everything from a boa constrictor to a red fox to a giraffe. Guests had plenty of time to wander through the exhibits and see the animals, and when it was time to head in for music from It’s Your Night and the Bent Creek Band, the Zoo’s amazing staff opened the tent walls to reveal a gorgeous setup courtesy of Perch Event Decor and florals from Details Dallas. Lux Beauty and Bridal made sure that the bridesmaids’ hair and makeup stayed perfect even as they danced long into the night, and Kate Panza Photography didn’t miss a single moment of the action.
