Every couple has a unique, special love story, and Anna + Billy’s is one of my very favorites. They met as camp counselors and slowly but surely fell for each other – and then, at the end of the camp session, Billy finally decided to make his move. He wrote Anna the sweetest letter to share his feelings, and from there, the rest was history.

Anna + Billy’s wedding day was filled with so many of these same thoughtful, intentional details (including that framed love letter!), as well as a gorgeous, minimalist color palette and the most striking design elements – like the invitation suite, which Anna designed herself, and that AMAZING greenery arch that framed their “I dos” during the sweetest, loveliest ceremony based on their shared dedication and service to each other.

But it wasn’t all just lovely – it was a whole lot of fun, too! This wedding may have taken place during the time of coronavirus, but you would’ve never known from how big the party was. From the laugh-filled toasts to the packed dance floor to the radiant sparkler exit, the entire night was a dream – and I don’t think a single person stopped smiling the entire time.

Every guest (and every vendor, too!) felt so honored to get to play a part in this incredibly special marriage. It all felt like a fairytale, like the happy ending in a book – but for these two, it was just the beginning of what we all know will be a beautiful life together!

Camryn reached out to me just a few weeks out from her late June wedding at the Milestone in Denton, and from there it was a whirlwind in the best kind of way. Her vision for the day – all moody neutrals and personal details, like a display of her grandmothers’ wedding dresses, a hand-painted canvas of the venue for guests to sign, and a surprise late-night snack of cookies from her favorite Baylor-area bakery – was thoughtfully designed and dreamy as could be, and it was such an honor to get to help bring it all to life.

Camryn + Lance are a truly special couple. In a beautiful ballroom full of 175 guests from all over the country, they truly only had eyes for each other. Their relationship has been built on service to each other and a focus on their shared faith, and that shone through in every aspect of their wedding day. The focal point of their ceremony was a stunning cross covered in florals (courtesy of Coco Fleur Events), and they incorporated a foot-washing ceremony into their I Dos to honor God and each other.

After a heartfelt round of toasts and a lovely dinner served by the Milestone’s in-house catering team, it was time to party! LeForce Entertainment kept the dance floor packed, and a dream team of 7 Sisters Photography and Silver Bear Creative captured every stunning moment.

J+B’s wedding day felt like something out of a fairytale. From the beautiful, minimalist design to the perfect weather (even on an August day in Texas – what are the odds?!), every detail was a dream come true from start to finish.

Couple Walking Down the Aisle

The day began with mimosas in the Emerson’s chic bridal suite, while the stylists from Cloud 9 Salon handled hair + makeup. The boys enjoyed beers and rounds of cornhole out in the groom’s cabin.

Meanwhile, the Studio Tersilla term worked their magic in the chapel and reception space with some of the dreamiest blooms I’ve ever seen. Just see for yourself:

Coral Lane’s rentals rounded out the design to create a perfectly cohesive look. Their black bentwood chairs added some contrast to the bright whites of the venue and the pale pinks and greens of the florals for a simple yet high-impact look.

Reception Table Decor

Once everyone was primped and polished, J+B had butterflies in their stomachs and were so ready to see each other – but first, they took a quiet moment alone to read their private vows to each other. After that, it was off to the chapel!

Dinner and desserts were provided by Seven Loaves Catering and Desserts Galore, respectively, and as soon as the cake was cut, it was time to dance! LeForce DJ kept the party going all night long, as usual, and Melanie Julian Photography captured every happy moment.

At the end of the night, the newlyweds exited under the glow of sparklers and drove off in the groom’s own truck – with a few stowaways to see them off! Horse-drawn carriages and fancy limos are nice, but when you’re getting married in the Texas countryside, nothing beats a pick-up.

J+B were the sweetest couple to work with, and above all they were just so excited to get married. Surrounded by one of the most enthusiastic wedding parties I’ve ever seen, they exchanged vows and celebrated their marriage, and I’m so excited to see where it takes them.
